EMDR Training Information
EMDR Training provides information on accredited EMDR trainings, conducted by Alexandra (Sandi) Richman, primarily in the UK & Ireland. Information is also provided on EMDR Consultation. Alexandra (Sandi) Richman is an Accredited Trainer and Accredited Consultant in EMDR.
Her trainings are fully approved by EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and EMDR-Europe Association (EMDR-E). She was trained by Dr Francine Shapiro, the founder of EMDR, in the early 1990's and has used EMDR within her own practice for over 13 years. Sandi is a Consultant Psychologist in the Traumatic Stress Service at the Maudsley Hospital in South London, heading up an EMDR service within the TSS.

EMDR Workshops
The EMDR training team consists of three of the most experienced EMDR clinicians in the UK. All three were originally trained by Francine Shapiro (the founder of EMDR). Their professional backgrounds are in clinical psychology, psychotherapy, psychiatric nursing and social work. They are EMDR Europe and UK approved trainer and consultants.

Dr Derek Farrell at Birmingham University offers an accredited EMDR University based training. This double module encompasses the present EMDR Institute trainings parts 1, 2 and 3 and has been validated by EMDR Europe and the University of Birmingham.
EMDR Training & Consultancy
The principal of EMDR Training & Consultancy Ltd is John Spector, Consultant Clinical Psychologist. John was the first British Clinician to be trained in EMDR by Dr Shapiro (the founder of EMDR) in the USA, and he is an accredited Consultant in EMDR, an EMDR Institute Facilitator, and an EMDR Europe accredited Trainer in EMDR. He is the author of several papers published in the Scientific Literature on EMDR.
